Emily returns in style with superb PB
As the Cross Country season ended last week the indoor season got underway with the Baseline meeting at Athlone IT on Wednesday, 14 December. Emily Rogers who had taken a break from competition made her return to action in the high jump event. Emily has being training really well recently and really turned on the style by jumping 1.77M to a new PB and victory. This is the just reward for Emily's training and dedication and gives her great optimism for the season ahead.
On Sunday, 18 December Drogheda and District AC held their inaugural Christmas 5k, the St Peters Club were represented by Andrew Rogers who ran 20.37 to come second place in his new category of over 60, closely followed by his younger brother Brendan who came in 20.47.
